Transparency Light Won't Come On solution:
Make sure that you have Negative or Transparency selected in the TWAIN window when you are attempting to scan. If that is selected then check the connection from the lid of the scanner to the back of the scanner (thin black wire). If the problem still persists it is possible that there was a problem with the installation. In that case please uninstall and reinstall the scanner software. When installing, make sure to enter "UT12" as the model number.
If you have done all the above steps and still have the problem then it is possible that you have a defective scanner. In this case please call to talk with a representative about a replacement.
