Scanning Multiple Pages using TypeReader OCR solution:
Windows 95
Section I. Opening the program TypeReader OCR
1. Click on START
2. Click on PROGRAMS
3. Click on PLUSTEK SCANNER
4. Click on TYPEREADER OCRSection II. Setting up the Plustek 32-bit Twain driver within TypeReader
1. Click on TWAIN
2. Click on SELECT SOURCE
3. Select the 32-bit Twain driver for your scanner model
4. Click on SELECTSection III. Scanning an image with TypeReader OCR
1. Click on TWAIN
2. Click on ACQUIRE
3. After the document appears on the screen, insert the next page on the scanner.
4. Click on ACQUIRE
5. Continue to do this until all pages have been scanned
6. When all pages have been scanned click "No More Pages"Section IV. Processing the images
1. Click on VIEW
2. Click on PREVIOUS PAGE
3. Continue steps 1 and 2 until you reach the first document scanned into the computer
4. Once on the first page, click on PROCESS
5. Click on FINISH PROCESSINGSection V. Saving the file
1. Click on FILE
2. Click on SAVE AS
3. Change the file format to one that is compatible with your word processor (See below for common file types)
4. Navigate the directory structure to the directory you wish to save the file
5. Type in a unique name for this text document in the File Name area
6. Click on the SAVE buttonSection VI. Opening the file in your word processor
1. Click on START
2. Click on DOCUMENTS
3. Locate the document name of the file you just saved
4. Click on this document. The Document should now open within your word processor. (If you document is not there look below on how to open files)Section VII. Common File Types for Word Processors

Microsoft Works 3.0 <name>.RTF
Microsoft Works 4.0 <name>.DOC
Corel WordPerfect <name>.WPF
Corel WordPerfect <name>.RTF
Novell Perfect Works <name>.RTFSection VIII. Alternate Ways of Opening File
- Start your word processor
- Click on FILE
- Click on OPEN
- Navigate to the directory in which you saved your document
- Change File Type to the type you saved under (If you saved under *.WPF you must select All Files *.*)
- Highlight your document
- Click on OPEN.
