OpticWorks 2000 Cartridge Problem

If you changed your color/black cartridge and can not open the Plustek Control Program to reset your cartridge, try the following:

  1. Insert your CD-ROM Flatbed Scanner Installation CD into your computer and click on installation scanner software, then answer all the questions like you did the first time you install your scanner software. STOP when you get to type of installation.
  2. The type of installation to want to select is "CUSTOM". Then click on next and take all the check marks out of all the boxes except Scanner Driver and or Action Manager, then click on next and let the installation finish and reboot your computer.
  3. You can now go back to Start, Settings, and left click on Printers and right click on your OPTIC WORKS 2000. Left click on Plustek Control Programs and you should be able to reset your new cartridge.
