OCR solutions:

If scanned document comes out as strange characters on the screen the text page my have been scanned upside down in the wrong direction. Reverse the page and scan again. The OCR software is limited to certain types of documents, fonts and formats. You might be trying to scan a form, spread sheet, a hand written letter or a document with color text or color page. If this is the case you will need additional software to convert images into documents.

If you are trying to Register the OCR into your Word Processor:

Go to Start, Programs, Plustek Scanner and click on TextBridge instant access OCR. This will bring up the OCR registered applications. Double click on the Word Processor that you are using, this will bring it to the top to available applications then click on Add All, then click on OK. This will close the OCR and put it on the bottom of the task bar.

Open the your Word Processor and click on File and you should see Text Bridge in the menu just above Exit. If not, then the Word Processor that you are using is not supported by TextBridge.
