No Light Emitting from the Bulb solution:
If no light is emitting from the bulb on your scanner make sure that your BIOS is properly configured. You can do this by following this guideline:

If the BIOS is configured properly and you are still not getting any light from the bulb, check the AC connection and determine whether it is warm or cold to the touch. If the connection is okay and everything seems to be plugged in it is possible that you have a bad bulb or that the bulb burned out. In this case please call to talk with a representative about a replacement.
