Scanner Model: OpticPro A3I

Problem: No 32-Bit Twain source for the A3I

Solution:

This solution requires a patch from the Plustek USA website

To obtain this patch, please visit the following webpage:

Download the patch for the OpticPro A3I labeled A3IUPDATE.EXE

After you have downloaded this patch, locate the file on your computer. Once the file has been located, double click the file to begin installation. The patch will update the necessary files for the OpticPro A3I 32-Bit Twain source.

To test the new source, launch the image-editing program that came with the scanner.

Once this program has been launched, do the following:

1. Click on FILE
2. Click on SETUP
3. Click on SCANNER
4. Click on SELECT SOURCE
5. Choose the 32-Bit Twain source
6. Click on OK
7. Click on File
8. Click Acquire

You should now be able to use the 32-Bit Twain Source for your scanner.
