FASTEST COLOR SCANNING
In a recent PC Magazine performance test of seven color flatbed scanners, Plustek's OpticPro 9630PL was found to scan color images at the fastest speed.
PC Magazine editors stated that the OpticPro 9630PL is a fast scanner "logging the best score for color scans and the second best score for monochrome scans."
Surprisingly, Plustek's OpticPro 9630PL features an enhanced parallel port interface (EPP) vs. other models in the roundup that featured SCSI and proprietary interfaces. The single-pass 30-bit color flatbed scanner has an optical resolution of 600x1200 dpi and a scanning area of 8.5"x14".
Plustek's Color 6000 sheetfed scanner was awarded Computer Life's 'Best of Everything' award and earned a five-star rating by editors.
The world's smallest sheetfed scanner, the PageReader 800, received praised from users around the world as well as a special 'award of excellence' from the Taiwanese government.
